gingerbread: red square

Some Swedish friends, Johannes and Paloma compete every year for the best gingerbread architecture. This year their lovely creation was Red Square in Moscow. I love that they made it interactive and the crowd decorated with tons of tiny candies. See their creation from last year, Chitchen Itza here.

Creative Room also hosted a competition this year, pitting 10 architects and designers as a "candy-filled homage to The Case Study House Program organized by Arts and Architecture Magazine from 1945 to 1964.

See more related gingerbread ideas here.
